REGIS ROAD DEVELOPMENT MEETING

Thank you to everyone who came to the meeting on 9th March, including Yoo Capital. Lots of interesting points were made and it was really good to think them through as a community, particularly with film makers in the room.

We heard that the Design Review Panel reports have been released by a Freedom of Information request (CAM12085). The reports are records of the meetings between the Design Review Panel, Yoo Capital’s team and Camden planning officers during the pre-application period. Kentish Town Neighbourhood Forum has written to the Council- “Therefore, KTNF repeats our request that the Planning Committee reject Planning Application 2025/4861/P from YC CFQ Ltd. for the redevelopment of sites on Regis Road and asks the developer to address the issues raised in the Design Review. We further request that resubmission of the application is timed to coincide with that of Joseph Homes for the remaining large site on Regis Road, to enable the community and interested experts to assess the impact of these two large, adjacent schemes. “

Queen’s Crescent Neighbourhood Forum endorses this request.

Thank you to the Camden Green Party for co-hosting and enabling the meeting to happen.
